Where to eat at Potsdamer Platz

The restaurant has been at Potsdamer Platz since 1998 and combines Japanese sushi with modern European cooking, with an open show kitchen and a summer terrace. Hugo Thiebaut, with a French haute-cuisine background that includes Ducasse kitchens and Pauly Saal, has been head chef since spring 2024. Michelin lists VOX with no star and no Bib, describing modern cuisine and sushi, à la carte or a five-course menu. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays 18:00–22:00. We could not read the current menu or prices, so none are printed.

Bistro Mitte serves international classics, a business lunch and a monthly "Grand Brunch" (dates not published), beside a fireplace. The 1838 Deli is a café for pastries, snacks, coffee, juices and vegan options, not a lunch restaurant.

The Magic Table is an interactive five-course story dinner; Le Petit Chef & Friends is a four-course dinner with 3D projections on the plate. The hotel gives no dates or prices on its page; ask the hotel.

There is a bar on every floor and the kitchen serves from 18:00 in the bars or on the poker floor. The December 2025 menu is casual and bilingual: bowls, salads, pasta and gnocchi, burgers, pizza, fish and chips, an Argentinian rump steak and a currywurst, with vegan options and desserts such as caipirinha parfait and apple strudel. Starters cost €8 and mains €14.50–25.50. House cocktails (Espresso Martini, Cosmopolitan 1934, Passionfruit Martini) are €9.50–10.50.

The Welcome package (€39) includes a drink, a tour, a game introduction and €15 in chips. The Dinner package (€79) adds a sparkling welcome and a three-course menu, with a tour and €10 in chips. German cooking reinterpreted, with more than 200 wines. Michelin lists POTS with no star and names Königsberger Klopse and a surprise menu. A Champagne Brunch runs on the first Sunday of the month and a family-style three-course "Great Sunday" menu is offered. The goose menu runs from 11 November to 23 December 2026 (Monday to Saturday).

The Curtain Club serves 1920s-inspired cocktails with live music on selected days, daily 16:00–01:00. The Lounge serves afternoon tea (Mon–Fri 10:00–18:00, Sat–Sun 09:00–18:00) with a champagne toast at 18:00. The Cigar Club holds about twenty handmade cigars (daily 14:00–24:00). The Secret Champagne Garden is on its seasonal break.
